Default Connecting via the ODB II of the device Garmin EcoRoute HD ... ( VIDEO )

Garmin EcoRoute HD Connection Video by Luca_Manni | Photobucket

forgive the low resolution of the video.
here you can see the connection to the socket ODB II of the EcoRoute HD of our Jaguar.
This communicates with the Navy Garmin (which I have installed in place of the mirror in the sun visor driver side) via Bluetooth and brings on video all the data related to the engine, manifold air temperature, boost pressure, engine load and very another.
It also allows you to see many errors (not all) when the lights "engine" on in the dashboard and there is the possibility of doing the reset directly from the navy Garmin!
Many of the upgrades I make to my car, with this control device data before and after the changes, to see if there have been improvements!
highly recommended!

That's a neat install in the sun visor.

Gives me an idea for my SatNav.

I like the idea of your install, what garmin sat nav did you use and is it powered by the car or do you just rely on the sat navs rechargeable battery.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

Hi,
you can use one of these Garmin Navy:

https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/prod...tml#productTab

I disassembled the power supply for the car and I put it inside of the visor in place of the internal foam.
This have the power to 12V for the lights of the mirror and now the power is connected to the power supply of Garmin.
My garmin is Nuvi 3700 very thin.
