Default Convertable, hi level brake light.

Hi all.
Can anyone tell me on the led brake light, if one of the lights fail does the whole strip stop working or just the bad one?
Secondly, I have removed the unit but cannot separate the light module from the finished trim, is this one part or can they be separated?
Thanks.

Thanks.
There are rectangular holes (2 places) in the bottom of the base to separate the molded claw(base) from the molded eyelet (body painted cover) with a screwdriver. (gently, the plastic is fragile)

As a last resort, since both of my eyelets finally broke, I currently have 3 small bits of double sided trim tape holding mine together. Any more tape than that will make it very difficult to separate in the future.

Good luck

Thanks for the help.
Firstly I posted on the new members section.
I managed to separate the two parts, they hand been glued together and have since found out that if one of the LED's goes down the whole unit fails.
I have found a used replacement that is due to arrive later this week, and will let you know
Thanks.
Plastic Paddy.
