Convertible top issue (not green shower!!)
Sixty degrees and beautiful in Atlanta today. Bummer for you folks in the Northeast. Be safe in that storm.
I put the top down. Went down fine. (I have had the kit that spills pressure installed for the last couple of years).
When I put the top up, I hold the button down. The sequence is...
1. The top goes up and latches. (worked perfectly)
2. The rear windows go up. (worked perfectly)
3. The front windows go up. (no so hot...)
The front left window went up fine. The front right went up about an inch, then stopped. I was able to put it up the rest of the way with the window switch, no problem.
I tried the cycle again. Again. when it go to the part about putting the front right window up it went up about an inch, then stopped abruptly. Put it up the rest of the way with the window switch... no problem there. The window works fine when operated with the window switch.
I checked battery voltage. I know bad batteries make weird electrical problems. 12.37 volts at 60 degrees ambient temperature.
Any ideas regarding what could cause this?
Thanks,
Jack

Was there a long period of before today where the car was not being used?
I am guessing the battery is low and the voltage dipped a bit too low during start.
Try a window reset. If that does not work, disconnect the battery for a minute, do the window reset and try again.

Funny that the window goes up about an inch or so and then stops abruptly at the same place every time I exercise the top. And then the window responds perfectly to the window switch.
Great idea about trying a window reset. Haven't done that yet.
Thank you very much for the advice. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this symptom?

You are brilliant!!!
Can I buy you a drink!!!
Just reset the windows. Windows now work perfectly when operating the top.
Thank you very much. Come on down to Atlanta to collect that drink. I am very appreciative!!
