Converting to manual latch operation involves capping the latch ports on the hydraulic pump (see link in my sig. line below). One vendor who has been supplying the needed components for about ten years now has introduced a simplified "kit" ordering procedure. The kit includes all components needed to do the conversion.

Can U advise what the hex key is & where it is located?
Is a special tool needed to turn it?

The hex key is itself the "special tool". It is stored in the trunk (boot) of the car, next to the hydraulic pump that drives the convertible top. The owners manual and/or some searching here will tell you how the hex key is used to operate the latch manually, but ... Please(!) don't try to operate the latch manually until you're familiar with how things work.
