Default Coolant hose connector leak

Finally located the source of the coolant leak on my 01 XK8. It looks like a hose connector T that is just under the left side of the throttle body and has a line that runs up to the back of the throttle body.

Is that connector sold separately? Anyone have a part number number for me?

Thank you for any help!

Or...

Can this just be replaced with a brass plumbing T? Or is there some kind of check valve in there?

Anyone know the inner diameter of the hoses there?

It is not a simple T, the firewall side of this (right side of your pic) mates with the famous octopus hose. It is a quick-connect Norma connector that is great for Jaguar at the time of assembly. It believe this special T is available separately.

To be a bit more complete, the radiator side of this T(left side of your pic) mates with one of the infamous valley hoses. These valley hoses are running from the front thermostat tower, and feed the heater code (not directly, though). These hoses are great, until they are not as they age hidden under the intake. This simple leak can be a hint that these hoses need to be replaced. I replaced mine a few weeks back, and it was not a pretty sight: hoses swollen beyond recognition, and even had a small tear in it. This is a job with quite a bit of labor, but pretty cheap in parts. Perfect DIY.

^^ +1

It looks like someone has been there before as the original tee is missing. This is what it should look like:

srpope80 has done an excellent write-up (lots of pictures) of the job in this thread:
