Default Coolant Reservoir Replacement

In Oct of '12 I replaced the OEM coolant reservoir with another OEM unit for $322.99 over the counter. It lasted 4 years and 7 months or 56,000 miles. I started having low water messages and discovered the tank was leaking at the seam. Decided it was time to replace and discovered a direct replacement on line delivered for $64.28. I have installed the non OEM and am very happy. The only difference I can see is one has the Jaguar leaper on the bottom and the other says Uro.

Awesome. Can you share the source and the part number?

Thanks!

I did the same thing 3 weeks ago. Dealer wanted $400.00. Part was $65.00 plus cost of a hose I used to replace the "I will break if you look at me harshly" plastics return piece(it had been "repaired before I bought it about 6 weeks ago).

I received the part through Parts Geek. Is is part number MJD400AB.
I also posted it in the section for OEM parts replacement.

I have just run a hose from the thermostat housing to the reservoir and junked the hose, tube, hose set up.

I just got one from RockAuto.com complete with sensor and cap for a little over $50. I was looking for a sensor and found them for $75, then stumbled on the deal for the whole shabang.
