Default Is this the correct fuel pressure regulator for a 2000 XKR?

It looks like NCA3007CA is the updated revision for the fuel pressure regulator on a 2000 XKR. The 2 attached pictures show the part I removed and the new part NCA3007A. Is that correct? Maybe it is routed a different way? visually they look to be shaped quite different.

Stock component photos are often very different-looking than the actual component you need because they are attempting to represent a number of different models with the same photo. Just be sure to confirm that your part number is indeed correct for your particular car before you order it and you should be good to go. I would check with at least a couple of different trusted sources before I placed my order....

Here is the problem, when jaguar looks up the part by VIN they come back with JLM21358. Attached is a picture of JLM21358, it looks nothing like the original part, it doesn't even have 3 nipples, 2 to the fuel rails and 1 to the supercharger is how the original part was ran. Maybe JLM21358 was for a XK8 and there was a different part for the XKR that for some reason the VIN does not pull?

Have you checked the excellent SNGBarratt web site?

Jaguar converted the number stamped on to the top of the original fuel pressure regulator Denso-2901 96JV-9C968-EA and came back with NCA3007CA. Due to 2000 being the first year the supercharger was available the VIN was probably entered as an XK8 and not an R. SNGBarratt shows a fuel pressure regulator with different style nipples without the rail. SNGBarratt also has available the NCA3007CA which is labeled "Pipe-fuel Re" on their site, it would be nice if it was labeled "Fuel Pressure Regulator with rail/hose/line" so it would be easy to find. It was impossible to remove this fuel pressure regulator without cutting the original rubber/plastic hose, it was welded on, probably has been there for the last 130,000 miles.

So I have ordered NCA3007CA and hopefully it fits...

It looks like they don't make them anymore, but you can find new old stock:-

https://www.justjagsuk.com/fuel-pres...gulator-132046

Or buy a second hand one for 10% of the price:-
