It is now 2017 and I still can't find an upgrade 2003 navigation disc with the full screen analogue clock for my 2002 XKR imported from Japan.
Is this disc country specific.? or can a Europe/ U.K./ be used.
I have been told to find a disc with part number C2N3029 or LJD2441FB
Am I looking for the wrong one.?
I would walk over broken glass to obtain the right disc.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE......

Thanks for such a prompt reply, No I have not tried the U.S.A. disc.
This is my first post and as such I am a Junior Member, but in real life an 80 year old! As such I do not understand the terminology of downloading a disc from stickies. I thought I needed an actual physical disc. can you enlighten me.

As a first step, check this thread. Exact same issue:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...d-issue-51459/
Then I would check-in with at the NZ regional section and see who may have a disk.
Failing that, each the forums for nav dvd and there will be instructions on download and burning a US one.

Hi, SeaKiwi,
Receiving lots of posts from all parts and many options to try
I do suspect my disc will be Japan specific
As it happens, I only want the analogue clock function, so maybe the other countries' discs might work for that, because all Jaguars need a decent analogue clock not a digital excuse for one.
Of course you have this in your 3 gauge system.
Please keep the suggestions coming in.
Cottonwood.

You should change your Location to Auckland, New Zealand . Giving full postal addresses is not required and is risky on a public forum.
Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Hi, I had the same problem and to my dismay you are out of luck. The disk was made by NavTec and the last update was 2005. They said there was not enough space on a single disk to get all the new information and thus abandoned production of a new one. The only solution is to replace the nave system. There of plenty of options contained in this forum.

A Jag owner with an imported 2004 XKR-R coupe from Japan, is sending his disc to me. He says it should display the analogue clock and if it does, I am to take a copy before sending it back to him. what a considerate guy!
Now, what is the criteria for doing this?
I was told that whoever does the copying needed software that can read and write an ISO image to a dual layer DVD+R the navigation disc is approximately 7.3 GB, the normal 4.7 GB is no good.
This is all double Dutch to me.
Does anyone understand this and is it correct.? Look forward to hearing from members please. Cottonwood.
