Coupe Headliner question
Checking for source of birdie noise, found the headliner at rear is not snug to roof. Button is tight, but not able to cause tail of headliner to be snug. How have others made it snug?
I just pushed mine back up against the roof and it reattached itself. I had just bought the car, so I'm not sure what's between the liner and the roof, but it's been several weeks now and it's flush and out of the way.
There is nothing between the headliner and the roof except some 1 inch air gap.
at the rear end just after the light bulb there is a small piece of velcro. the velcro is on foam and is about 1/2 inch thick. So the headliner is not tight to the roof.
For the rest the headliner is suspended from the sides.

Thais for the information...re the velcro, as i understand you one side of the velcro is attached to the foam, the foam is attached to what an how. Then there mist be another half of the Velcro coupling right? and if so what is that part attached to and how? Self adhesive?
Attached is the velcro I talked about.
the little round piece, about half an inch thick.
That's all in the centre line (plus the overhead cabin lights infront) holding the headliner up besides it being suspended from the sides.
