My driver's seat is starting to fall apart, and I can't afford new leather, does anyone know of any decent looking covers? I have ivory leather interior btw, but I guess a black protector would be fine.

You may be in luck !!!!!!
Jaguar actually did a set of tailor made covers in an ivory coloured cotton with the XK8 logo embroidered in the headrest !!!!! and very plush they are , I have a set for my car and I've seen them come up very occasionally on Ebay ,
if you don't get any joy I can ask my upholsterer if he could replicate my set at a reasonable cost ?

This should help steer you in the right direction. There are quite a few companies with cheap covers on the internet making them out of vinyl. you'd still probably looking at a couple of hundred bucks, If you were in San Diego I'd say cross the border and have it fixed.
