Default Does the 2007+ XK8 have the conv top leak issue?

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I'm brand new to the forum and a seach didn't turn up any answer for me. I've read countless accounts of members having fluid leak issues with the pre-07 XK8 convertibles. Do the post-07 cars have the same problem or is it too soon to know? I'm planning to purchase an XK8 within a couple months and this is one of a few issues[mainly price difference though] that will help me decidewhether to get the current XK8 or to go witha new 06. Thanks in advance!

to more specifically address this...No, it uses a totally different operating system, and a much nicer stowage method too. There arent really any issues with this car and since the XF uses the same eletrical architechure and design. It shown to be really good so far too. For 09 youre gonna see alot of 07's coming off lease, and with the economy what it is, the residuals arent gonna be great, which meens a much better deal for you

That's exactly what I wanted to know. Guess I'll look more toward the later, than the previous model. I appreciate the very quick and complete response BRUTAL!
