On a spare set of keys that came with my 97 XK8, there is a small dog whistle looking device. I have no idea if it is car related or not. Any idea what this thing is or, more specifically, if it has anything to do with the jag?

What that is -is the quick release keychain Male end of another set of keys or some other keepsake.
That other keepsake set of keys or what ever, has the Female end of it. The use is easy. Hold your end between your index and middle finger and press the top in. Holding it like that, insert it into the female end on the what ever and release. The two are then locked together. To release the female end from your end just do it again and separate the two. Make sense?
