Door locks
My door locks are behaving oddly at the moment. When I unlock the car they repeatedly unlock, lock and unlock a few times in quick succession. The same thing happens after I have been driving and the doors have automatically locked and I open a door.
I think it was this which recently confused the car and stopped the central locking from working completely. A quick reset by disconnecting the battery got it working again, although it didn't cure the locking/unlocking syndrome
Has anyone else experienced this?

This has been discussed numerous times and the cause is usually a bad micro switch in the door latch mechanism. Some have actually been able to replace it, but more commonally the latch mechanism is completely replaced. When you pull up on the door handle, does the window drop some and then return when the door is closed?

Suggestion to check 2 Fuses
Howdy Folks:
This is based on my observation of purposely pulling the Pass dr control module fuse #15 on the passenger side fuse box. I 'm currently doing this to prevent an additional ~50ma battery drain during idle periods exceding 3 days until I can get another Pass Dr module. l have been able to force this repetitive locking behavior by removing this fuse while both doors are open and the battery is connected. When I replace this fuse, I can get everything back to normal (except the excess battery drain).
I am not claiming this is your fix, but If you have not checked fuse #15 on both driver and passenger side fascia fuse boxes, I suggest this simple check. I hope this helps. Good luck.
