In order to replace the lock it is necessary to first remove the glass using tool 'door glass release lever' 501-114, shown attached (then swing the glass guide out of the way to make access for the latch). I am having no luck sourcing the tool - it is listed here: https://jlrequipment.service-solutio...px?SKU=501-114, but this is a trade only supplier

It is only a bent strip, so I assume I can easily make the tool, however does anyone have any dimension or details of the end which releases the plastic clip holding the glass.

Any help/ glass removal tips appreciated. Thanks

Note I am aware that rear door lock removal does not require glass removal - the front is not so simple!
