So after killing a bunch of animals my door took some damage, first it creaked a lot when closing it and now it just swings - it's out of control!

This might be fixable, I assume I'll need to take off the door panel? How would you go about it? Hopefully it's as easy as tightening a bolt..

You killed animals with your door?

Thanks, yes, I hit a deer with it trying to avoid hitting it going a bit sideways (after killing a skunk the same day). I know how to remove the panel, but don't know anything about the hinges

there was a thread recently about using a jack under the door and 're-adjusting' it that way. Scary, but several have tried it when the hinges look fine and are secure.

I've done the jack trick, using my deadlift skills, and that worked for the passenger doors, but since the alignment is fine, I don't think it would help me in this case?

I suspect the door check arm is the culprit:

Or maybe it's time for some upgrades.. trololol
