Default Drive cycle

I'm about to my wits end trying to get my drive cycles complete. I've followed some of the suggestions on the site, but not sure if I'm doing it right or not. This is for a 1999 xk8 and the monitors are comprehensive componet, catalyst, and oxygen sensor. The rest seem to have completed. I sure would appreciate some help here.

I've read numerous variations on the way to complete monitoring a.s.a.p.

This sequence was given to me by my local dealer and worked with a 2000 XJ8L:

Note it can take up to 5 cycles to complete catalyst monitoring.

I read the drive cycle.
Whoever proscribed that cycle must live out in the desert.
drive at 55 for 3 min, decelerate to 20 and the accelerate to 55. yeah try doing that on an LA freeway.

I'll go out at 11 am and see if I can do this.

You're just going to have to buy a bigger house with a proper driveway.
