Default Driver's seat back.

Hi,
I bought my 97 XK8 from a friend and while he had it, he had a leaking lumbar support. He had someone replace the bladder but hey didn't refit the seat back correctly. The left side stays in place but he right side doesn't. I've tried a few times to fit it but it never stays put.
I've downloaded the parts manual which doesn't show the seat back or anything that might help me figure out what's wrong. Internet searches have turned up nothing. A trip to a dealer recommended upholstery shop was almost funny. Super glue? Really?
Does anyone here have any idea as to what is going on with this seat?
Thanks!

The seat back is secured with clips (about 32 of them depending on seat style). If you can post a pic of where it's coming loose, you should get some help.

Hi,
Thanks for the info and sorry for the late response. I went to the Jag dealership and they could find no picture of the clips I need. Luckily for me, they had a kid working there who has a brain and he somehow found them. Just installed them today and it looks good. I have high hopes and will let you know how it all works out.

Too often if it's not in the graphic, the Parts Department can't find it! The clips are listed under Unillustrated Parts in the catalogue.

Good to hear you got them. I hope it works out.

Be sure you install the number of clips shown in the attached bulletin. That's the best way to assure it won't pull loose again.

Cheers,
