Just thought I'd give back. After pulling all fuses one by one looking at another issue I managed to reset the drivers door window so each time you pulled the open handle the window went down and down and down. Of course you'd get the same symptoms changing the battery.

Solution: Sit in the car with the ignition on and let the window down, release and press down again and hold for 10 secs. Now do the same for upward. All fixed and I'm quite relieved it's not serious
