Nope the LS restriction for 03 up is the ECU, the protocol change with the 4.2 and nobody's cracked it yet.
That is one thing that gives me second thoughts about the 04 XKR as I wouldn't mine dropping to an 02 and doing a LS and 6 speed manual swap myself. I think that would just be bad ***!
