As these cars age and we know there are already issues with early model XK8 ECM's (97/98?). Should the ECM's be a preventive maint move now?
I have seen several folks here have theirs redone that fixed issues that presented as other issues (I would be one of those people years back with my then 97 model) and had them chasing repairs that were not needed. We know when the early model year ones have issues it causes other issues with the car being able to run and in some cases pointing that issue of running to parts that actually were not bad, for me the TB.
Just curious.
