Hi I stay in Scotland and have been having trouble with my ECU XK8 2006 does anyone know where I can get a replacement need to get one before I get my MOT in January 2021 thanks for any help Bazmarley

It has a brakes fault, keeps beeping when I drive, even as there is nothing wrong with the brakes, also I need to keep my finger on the red start button for a few seconds to start with the brake pedal as if not it will add further faults thanks

 

Unless I'm mistaken, sounds like you have an X150, with a start button (generally model year 2007-2014), not the X100-103 (this forum). Ignore my reference to a 2006 XK8 ECM. That probably will not work for you, and you'll likely need to discuss your issues in the X150 forum.

It might be helpful, there, if you posted your codes from the car scanner and why you think the brakes are working, but the warning light is the fault of the ECM. Good luck!
