Hi I have a 1998 xk8 that has frustrating electrical problems. With the ignition off I have some lights on the dash. Headlights are also on with the switch off. Seats and radio work ok however roof, windows,indicators,wipers and engine just clicking when I turn the key to start. Fob not working too
Battery showing 12.6 bolts. Tried a hard reset but no joy. Could it be the transponder? If so howe do you remove it?

 

Sounds like you have a bad earth connection to me . Pick on one circuit say the starter which is clicking and get that going . Start by taking the battery neg off and cleaning it. then the engine earth strap.
