XK8 / XKR ( X100 ) 1996 - 2006

Every time I open door, glass goes down about 1/2" more and more.

Default Every time I open door, glass goes down about 1/2" more and more.

I guess it supposed to go up but it doesn't. If I open door 10 times, glass will be 5" down.
Any super smart people here? any ideas? thanks.

You need to reset. Press the window up button and hold until you hear a faint click. Same all the way down. Repeat passenger side.

Typically a sign of a battery going bad. Or after a repair involving disconnecting said battery.

When doing the reset be sure you are in the car with the door closed.

Might check your battery condition also. My windows started doing that just before I had to replace my failing battery.

Read your owners manual. If you don't have one, download it and then read it. It will solve many problems .
