Is anyone running without the small middle mufflers (the ones before the axle)? Any changes in sound or performance?

 

I'm not, but it's popular to remove the middle muffler right after the headers and replace it with a cross pipe. I'm running a cross pipe and quite like it, still is mild though and I'm considering a full exhaust for a bit more roar!

 

I'm running with an "Adamesh" over axle and rear pipes,sounds like a V8 should

That would be way to technical for me, but it sounds as good as my Corvette did.

 

I would suggest replacing the cats first if you can afford it. The motor sounds so much better with high performance cats. The factory cats dampen most of the sound coming out. The factory cats reduce the exhaust volume more than any single/set of mufflers on the car.
