Well my saga of trying to get a set of shocks for my suspension work has taken a twist. The first set I ordered were on back order so I cancelled them and found another vendor who claimed they could ship in two weeks. Well two weeks later I call and inquire about the shipping date and they said it would be 7-21.

So, I checked out PartsGeek who had been out of stock, well as luck would have it their web site now showed 4 in stock so I ordered them and planned to cancel the other vendor order the next day.

The next morning when I checked my email I had shipping info from BOTH vendors saying the shocks had been shipped. I contacted PartsGeek and tried to cancel but they have a no cancellation policy, only return with a 15% restocking fee. The other vendor who previously indicated a 7-21 ship date advised that the parts came in unexpectedly and they also would require a restocking fee.

Well now I have two sets of Bilstein B4 shocks for my 03 XK8. I believe these fit all years XK8's.

Instead of returning and paying the restocking fee I would rather give someone on the forum a deal.

If you don't mind me asking, ... Just how much did they cost (cringe)? PM the answer if you want. With 142K on the odo, I may be looking at that job sometime soon.
