Have you removed the complete Cooling fans and Cowl assembly by removing the two M6 nuts, the electrical harness connectors and lifting it out?

Each of the Fan Motors is secured with three nuts:

There's a washer, spacer and rubber mounting behind each nut.

The bolts can slide out of the radiator mounts, so they may have fallen somewhere.

But to be honest, I don’t use these bolts anymore to fit it, the fan assembly already perfectly hangs on the #1 part. I have actually cut off the two sides (red circles), so I can now just take the fan assembly out with easy and without having to remove the radiator hose. So besides time and messy work when you disconnect the hose, you also avoid the chance of spilling coolant on the belts, which can cause belt squeal.

The slot you have arrowed should engage with an M6 threaded bolt and then be secured with a washer and hexagon nut. Same on the other side.
