The check engine light went on the other day but I didn't notice anything wrong with the car. Took it to AutoZone and they told me the codes were p0328 and p1643. The tech tried to clear the codes but said he was unable to clear the p1643. The light is off now but the car doesn't want to up-shift (not sure but seems to not want to shift above third). No other warnings or messages are appearing. Anyone have any ideas?

Update: After parking the car for the last 20 mins...I started it up and the check engine light is back on...cars seems to run perfect though...

P0328 - Knock sensor 1 circuit high input (Bank 1)
P1643 - CAN link engine control module/transmission control module circuit/network

 

Can this be an early warning of the dreaded "gearbox fault"? Maybe another problem with my ECM that I had repaired a few months ago? Also, I haven't heard of anyone else having problems with knock sensors.....
