Flat battery 'cause I left the lights on... Help

Search via google brought up the thread I needed. Jump start with the booster car engine off, negative attached to the spare. I knew I had read someplace there was a special proceedure.

I toiok the battery out this morning (once I had returned to town) and now its on charge. Its should just start once its charged...
