LMAO! I was talking about pics of the mats, not the ex! Although if you really want some, just give me your email address.

As my post indicated, I couldn't resist! The sentence structure left the perfect opening for an out of context inference that wasn't very appealing!

Kevin, my 2000 XK8 had 2 grommets per mat and I'm guessing yours does too. When I bought mine Dena responded the same day and I got mine in the mail the next day. Maybe they are busier these days?

I am anxious to see how much more plush the "Plush" mats are

Actually my ex WAS kinda hot, but when she got remarried she let herself go. Now she weighs more than me, and I weigh about 200 pounds. So now I'm sure the pics would be disgusting, unless you're into cattle.

You are right, Keith. When I got home Friday I discovered 2 hooks on each side. I'll take pictures to share when the mats arrive.

Sam... you notice how Keith and Kevin completely ignore our diversion to the thread and stay on topic?!

Yeah... I'm starting to think that most of the guys here are old fogies with no testosterone! LOL! The "Girls on Cars" thread hasn't been updated in a month!

Oh, I actually noticed the same thing before your post, midlife. Got a good chuckle. Give me a little time, I've only been here a couple weeks...

Lol, I noticed. I've made several contributions to the girls on cars threads I'm only 25, so I've still got plenty of testosterone

And I thought it was a couple of people demonstrating discipline to stay on topic! I, on the other hand, have a bit of trouble in that area!

Kevin, the 1999 XK8 has 2 hooks (assuming Jaguar did the same on all cars). I raise the parenthetical comment because I just went through an expensive lesson in how Jag changed stuff in mid stride. I suggest you double check your car before buying non-returnable goods.

Anyone know whether the beige or prarie tan colors shown by AutoEtc come anywhere close to SDZ interior code?

My car is SDZ, but the Plush beige and Plush prairie tan were not available at the time. You can see my pictures in the first post that I went with the beige and I like the look. I'm still waiting to see pictures of the plush style mats, so maybe you could be the first I think plush beige would match the carpets more and plush prairie tan would be lighter and closer to the seat color. The non-plush beige seems to be between the two plush colors. The nice thing is there are enough shades of beige in the car that it should look good with either choice. If I were in your position I would order the plush beige.

I was told by Dena at AutoEtc that someone had returned the beige plush mats because they were not a good match and they got the prairie tan. Evidentially they were happy with that color because they didn't return them. I've ordered prairie tan plush with the Jaguar logo and they are due to arrive today. I'll post pics later today.

Default The New Floor Mats are HERE!!!

As promised, the Prairie Tan Plush mats. They look a bit lighter than the carpet, but all in all a good match and I'm happy.

I didn't see an option for the heel pad, Matt.

sent an email to autoetc, for confirmation. Maybe can be added 'specially' for me.

I've got plan B if this doesn't work out. Going to do a custom 'growler' instead of the leaper w/ Jaguar if I must.

Wow those plush mats look great. I really wish I had a set in stead of the regular ones.

I probably have 3000 miles on the regular mats now, and there is definitely a wear spot starting where my heel rests. Not a big deal, though. If they start to wear through I'll just buy another set. Maybe I'll spring for the plush mats next time.
