Hey RevSam... did you pay the $10 extra for the "plush" mats? You said they were a little thin, and I'm wondering if you got the ones that are supposed to be thicker/plush.

Thanks,

I did NOT get the plush mats. In hindsight I wish I had paid the extra $10. I also wish I had gotten the heel pad, but I didn't even know about it when I ordered.

Hi. Have any of you purchased carpet for the SDZ trim code. I don't know whether that's cashmere, and I don't trust color rendition on websites. I'd sure like to get a nice match to the OEMs. Or, is there a super-duper secret code listing that tells me the best match? Thanks.

Hey Ron... are you looking for this:

1998-2009 Jaguar XJ8 Custom Carpeted Floor Mats | eBay

Sorry.. that was XJ8 and not the XK's. But you should be able to send them a message about the mats for XK's

Ron, just send them a message through eBay and tell them that you want the leaper. They can work out all of the options for you, and there are many: leaper/no leaper, type of binding, color of binding, color of thread, heel pad, plush/normal... They custom make the mats, so you can get them any way you want. You can even have "Linda's Jag" embroidered on the mats if you want.

Contact them via their ebay listing, or if you paid for them thru paypal, there will be an email in the payment details...ask for a total for the options you want (do it soon!) and send over another paypal payment separately. Done!

I just received mine from AutoEtc in plush $10 and with the Jaguar leeping $15 and shipping to Canada $25. They look better than the original OEM's. I missed out on the heel pad. Didn't see it nor did I think to ask. Regardless, for $88 delivered, I'm happy.

I got my replacement mats from GGBailey here:

GGBailey - Design Your Mats

They will send you a sample card of carpet in colors so you can match your existing carpet. This allowed me to almost perfectly match my beige interior. The cost at $80 was reasonable for a very nice pair of front mats with a serged edging and heel pad.

I ordered mats from Autotech a couple of months ago. They came exactly as ordered and look great. Then I heard about the heal pad and I was able to order just the driver side, plush, light tan, dark brown trim and logo, and heal pad, for $49. Jack

Picked up some new socks for Growler this month, based on recommendations here. The car still had original floor mats hiding in the trunk. Figured with the car being so old and so minty, that I'd keep them without further use. You guys have had some good threads on subject of replacement mats, so I ordered some customs up from Autoetc on ebay. Prairie Tan. Plush. Leaper in kelly green to reflect the BRG car. While the color in the flash shot seems a bit more gold than in reality, in fact the color complements the two beige tones already in the XKR. Fit is great. Quick service. No complaints. These seem at least as solid as the original mats, which lacked the leaper

regards

David

Looks great. I love the BRG and Beige/Oatmeal Interior. Don't sweat an exact color match. As they get used and soiled, the mats soon blend in with the carpets.

Default Mats

Hi where did you get your nice floor mats? I have a 2001 /xkr convertable and need beige color? Thanks for any advice.
