The culprit was the poorly shielded rca cables running in parallel with the rest of the cables to the trunk, I've bought two double shielded subwoofer mono rca cables that I hope will do the trick to eliminate it. I tried using a line noise remover, but it only reduced the noise a little bit and possibly degraded audio quality?

The new cables will go in with my new 6.5" sub install
