Default Driving Board sound from the back seat

This holiday weekend (4th of July) my wife and I put a few miles on the Jag with a trip to Savannah, GA (beautiful town!) approx. 600 miles one-way but on the way back I noticed a noise coming from the rear right quarter panel trim area that sounded to the best I can describe as a driving board. This occurred only when we would go over a large bump in the road; it had that reverb sound as it went away 'till the next bump. I'm getting ready to pull the trim off to look inside and hopefully determine what is making that noise...I was wondering if any one on this forum has had a similar experience (I know sounds are somewhat subjective but I thought I'd ask so I might keep an eye out for a certain something...).

Thanks in advance.

I think I have the same problem, and from other threads/member's input on here it sounds like clunking from the lower shock bushings. Apparently this is a common problem, see my thread link below.

I'll probably be looking to replace the bushings (on both sides) with oem's (as I read about issues with aftermarket bushing installs), however they're a little pricey at almost 100 bucks a piece from the dealer for the oem ones

Default Diving Board; my bad

Sorry, I meant "diving board"... After 1200 miles must've had driving on the brain.

I check the shock bushings but it sounds like it's in the cabin; is this consistant with shock bushings?
