Default 97 XK8 Tweeter Cover

My material is coming off my tweeter cover so I am either going to recover them or get walnut ones though they are awfully expensive. Can someone tell me what goes in the little panel below the tweeter opening. Looks like an emblem. My plastic one is exactly like the wood one. If it's an emblem where can one find one.

My 2000 with the Alpine premium sound has an Alpine logo there. This isn't the best picture, but you get the idea:

Thanks. That's what I figured so it's for the premium sound system. I see your material is coming off the same place mine is.

Yeah, the passenger side is. The drivers side is fine. It hasn't gotten any worse since I've owned the car, so I've just left it as is.

My 97 has a Harman/Kardon logo.

Keith, Porkenstein, the same happened to my drivers side. I remove it, applied some Krazy Glue to the plastic and the back of the cloth, taped over the Harman Kardon logo, and applied a mist coat of black spray over the whole cloth. not perfect but better looking than before.

Hmm. I'll add that to my projects list. Thanks.

I had a small fray on the top of mine and was able to pull it down on the back side and applied a quick drying acrylic glue, and taped up the cloth with duct tape to hold it in place. It's held up for two years with out any problems
