Is there anyway to repair the rubber strip on the door/window seal?

Default Tried a few things but nothing worked

If you’re referring to the rubber seals on the convertible hood, I’ve tried a few regular glues, including some other miraculous rubber glue products, but nothing seems to hold for long.

If you find something that works, let me know.

So, this works

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071JC9RP7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071JC9RP7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Overtopped with JB Weld Ultimate black (see below for an example).

I have two repaired over door pieces with long rips that have had no evidence of failure during the winter months. Problem is (and there's always a problem), one needs to be completely ready to make a perfect merge of the rip at the beginning since you have about 4 seconds once you apply it. I generally take packing tape and line everything up perfectly, lift up the packing tape from one side of the rip. Have one person apply and one person put the packing tape back down perfectly with little interval between. In my experience, **** older people work better as accomplices than bored young adults.

With the RTV overtop, you just need neat cake icing skills with as much time as you need. My bored adultish daughter is good at this part.

Note; degrease well before doing any of this, I generally use 409 followed by isopropyl.
