Default Freon leak on compressor 2001 XK8

I have a Freon leak on the back side of the compressor where the two lines bolt on. Any thoughts on how to replace those O rings. Thanks

It looks impossable, but it can be done. I did it from under the car using a couple of extensions, probably 18 to 24 inches. I came in from the back by the Cat and went up beside the motor mount. Probably had a universal on the end by the socket.

When I got the nut off, I pulled it out just enough to get the o-ring off the tube. I used a pick like tool to pull off the old ones and hook the new one over the tube. I think I used a long needle nose to hold the nut in place as I came back in with the socket and extensions from behind.

Once you find the path for the extensions, it is really isn't as daunting as it looks.

Good luck.
