Front fog light bulbs
I have hunted ,searched and found nada on this great forum
Please, could someone tell me how to replace the front fog light bulbs
I checked fuse... All OK
my dash light on consol switch is on... But no fog light... And I can not turn it off..or on dash light still there
Or could it just be a " jaguar electrics" phantom
Cheers,
Andy

NOTE: the front fog lights only work with the sidelights or headlights switched ON.
I hunted and searched through the Driver's Handbook for your model year..... and also found nothing on front fog light bulb replacement!
The procedure is in JTIS:

The bulb specification is in the Driver's Handbook - 12V 55W Halogen H3 Long Life.

JTIS (Jaguar Technical Information System) CDs are generally sold on ebay for less than $10. Keep in mind that they cover through the 2004 model year, but I have found that 95% of the material still applies to our 2005 S-Type and 2006 XK8. Well worth the money....
JTIS is also available for download here on the forum, but some members have struggled with the process....

JTIS (Jaguar Technical Information System can be downloaded from this thread in General Tech Help:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/g...rchives-65926/
Options there to download the complete version or just the section for your model.
As Jon has posted, it's also available from several sources on ebay.

This one got me when I bought my car recently. You would think when you go to head lights that you could push the fog light button and test them to. But leave it up to a high dollar car to out smart you. They know you didn't really mean to run your brights and your fog lights at the same time so you can't do it.
I thought I had an issue until I read the owners manual and then went outside in the dark to try them in the drive way and they worked just as outlined in manual. The rear fog lights are really cool feature to help you from getting smacked in the rear.
If it really is broken then you are going to have some real fun testing everything.
