Default Front Seat Ate my Cell Phone

I dropped my cell phone under my front drivers seat of my 2000 XKR coupe and have no idea how to access it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to remove the seat. I can't see it or feel it. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum Speed Racer,

The seat releases with only four torx bolts which is less of a risk of damaging the phone and will probably be quicker than trying to hook it out.

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. Pull seat forward and do a burnout, look behind seat for phone.

It is a pretty tight fit under there. I had a cell phone stuck under there once and I used a yardstick to push it out the back.

Wire coat hangar did it for me.

This seems to be a common problem. Have to admit I was too embarrassed to post on the forum about it.

Best wishes, Colin

Good thing I don't own a cell phone...But the entire car keeps eating my wallet.
