Front shocks
I just went shopping for lower front shock bushings for my 2000 XK8. The shocks are fine. It is just the lower bushing that has gone bad. I think I can replace it without removing the shock/strut which is a real bear to do. I checked with a parts house on line that we all use and found the entire Bilstein OE shock for the front for about $108.00. Also they had the lower bushing for the rear for less than $20.00, which I didn't want. And when I called them they quoted the lower bushing for the front, which is what I wanted for $144.00. What gives???? what is there about that bushing that is so different from the rear one and why can I buy the entire shock/strut for much less that includes the bushing???
Prices change every day. Try Jagbits!

Consider this...buying the entire unit instead of just the bushing, you're also updating your suspension, you'd be surprised how much tighter the front end is with new ones installed...I assume your 13 year old originals are still on the car?
