Fuel float issue, and range display missing
#1
All my issues...
Crazy problems with this car!
I am having all kinds of issues currently:
Just replaced the battery.
ASC, ABS, Trac lights all on, have cleaned and replaced the wheel sensors. My Diag tool won't clear the codes.
Also, in the process of trying to troubleshoot this issue, I have noticed that the range display on the odometer doesn't even show up anymore!
The fuel gauge drops to E and the light comes on at about 1/2 tank.
Random "Check Gas Cap" error code.
My clear coat is popping off all over the place.
The inside driver's door handle doesn't unlock the doors on the first try, sometimes it takes 3 or 4 times.
Thoughts, Ideas?

Can you be a bit more detailed, were these problems before the battery change? Sounds electrical (except paint) but could be various problems I'd suggest you pick one and debug from there. Use the search function in the forum and read any codes and post, it's what we always ask for first.
Ensure all battery and secondary power connections are secure would be a start.

Sorry, I try to be detailed and realized that this could have been confusing.
All errors were happening before the battery change, except the range display issue.
All obvious connections are tight. I guess I am going to have to invest in a better code reader, because mine doesn't seem to see much of anything, except the major evap (Gas Cap) and I can clear it.
