Default Fuel pressure question

What is the fuel pressure supposed to be at idle?

Checked mine twice, engine hot both times and the the pressure was 32, which seems low to me.
I have replaced the filter recently, but I have been having a nagging problem with the engine sputtering going up hills after driving for several hours and on wednesday it did it at low speeds going up a slight incline, but it was really hot outside.
I replaced the MAF when I had other issues and I just got a new pump I am going to put in.

Other than the sputtering, the car seems to run great.

On my 2003, which has a different fuel line setup as yours, my fuel pressure was always a steady 55 PSI, +/- about 2 PSI.

Changed the pump and sock and now it is 38 at idle, the freaking tank is full of rust. the EVAP at the top of the tank is completely corroded.

Anybody know the name of this part, it has 2 blue parts on top where the return lines go into.

Thanks

Hello

If you go to this thread you can download and install a copy of the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-xmas-48052/

Covers all years/models/variants. Very useful.

I believe the part you are after may be the Evaporative loss flange
