Cool Fuel Pump Problem

Hello: Can anyone tell me how to drain the fuel from my 2000xk8 fuel tank? My fuel pump quite and I have the tank ready to remove.
I cannot get a hose to enter the tank from the filler, I am using a 1/2" inch hose and it will not go all the way in the tank.
I have looked and cannot see any drian plugs?

I had a rough time when I replaced my fuel pumps. Your suppose to be able to run a siphon hose through the tank filler neck I could never get it through. I removed my fuel lines and took a 10MM socket head bolt with O rings and pushed it into the connector on the tank that stopped the fuel from running out. Then I was able to maneuver the tank around until I could remove the access cover on the tank so I could siphon the fuel out.

Doug: Just thought you would want to know
To drain my fuel tank I found by removing the fuel filter which I had to replace any way so I connected a pump to the feed line to the filter and drained the tank.
I worked great.
