Default fuel rail crossover pipe

The passenger side of the fuel rail crossover hose fitting broke on my 2001 xkr. I have tried three times to epoxy it back together, but failed. It still has a very small leak. I hate to buy a new one because of the work it takes to replace that hose. If I could find a fitting or a used hose, I could cut the rubber part and splice it to the existing one. Anyone having any advice would be of great help. thanks steve

Are you unable to replace the line with a new hose?

In Phoenix, we have a "Parker Store". They supply lines, hoses and fittings for many hydraulic and liquid applications. Many times our shop has taken them hose assemblies for repair, and they have performed well for us. I would suspect that you could find a hose specialty company in your area, such as the Parker Store, they should be able to remove the old hose that has failed, and crimp on a working replacement. Probably much less than buying the rails assemblies from Jag. Parker is a national company. We also have another supplier locally that does the same thing. If you need to ship it out, I can get you some phone numbers, but I would expect that there is a local place near you that does hydraulic hose repairs for equipment, etc. Give them a jingle!

The hose has an oring fittings on both ends and one end has the valve attached to check pressure. On the XKR the hose runs under the supercharger and requires a lot of work to replace it. I have talked to the jaguar parts department and they give me a part number {NCA3027AF} that shows the hose going over the top. I am not sure if that will work and I don't want to pay for a special order part that won't work. thanks for the reply
