Default full load breather - no orifice on 03XKR?

I was doing the throttle body and full load breather cleaning as described here on the forums for the 2000 XKR....when I removed the full load breather connections, there was no orifice on the valve cover side?? Is this the case for a 03 or was it removed or???

The Full Load Breather does not have a Orifice. The Part Load Breather has a 3/32" Orifice.

ok where is the part load breather?
the drivers side nipple that sticks out of the valve cover towards the radiator (front) must be part of the full load assembly?

The Part Load Breather (near the front of the left cam cover) has a 3/32" orifice.

Yes, it has an orifice but it is about an inch and a quarter down inside the nipple. I did the same thing.

Clicked a few pics of the PLB on my 2005 XKR.

Hope this will be helpful.

On the left hand side cam cover the part load breather nipple includes a 3/32" orifice that is located about 1.25" down inside from the top of the connector. If yours does not have that you will have to replace the engine.

Either your orifice is completely clogged up or I hope this is a communications problem!

Well, here is another shot of the PLB on my 2005 XKR. The view is just about straight down. I have never had a problem with this part or engine performance.

Illustration 4 of the JAG TSB on this shows it perfectly
the hole/orifice is in the tube that leads down towards the valves, appears to be a metal cone like thingy
I will look harder later. Thansk for clarifying and being patient with me!!! I have had the car less than a month and have been learning and doing a ton of reading!!!!!

I also have a 2005 XKR and, like Goldlion, I definitely do NOT have anything that looks or sounds like what was described in the how-to about cleaning the part load breather (mine looks exactly like Goldlion's). I think I asked about this a couple of years ago when I first bought my car and someone said the later models do not have the same setup as the older ones.

not surprising since "hole"=="orifice" in the dictionary.
