The clip broke on the inside of the gas door which latches to the inside by the actual fuel cap. Where can I buy a replacement? This is for a 2001 XK8. Thanks!

It appears they only sell it with the entire fuel door.

I am out of town so I cannot look at my car...maybe someone else can chime in on how easy the clip is to remove from the door, because otherwise you would have to have the new door painted.

Also, it is still best to call whichever dealer you buy from and give them your VIN to be certain of the correct apart.

The retaining tangs on mine broke off and I simply used a little bit of JB Weld to reaffix it to the fuel door. The JB Weld filled the void between the flat side of the retaining clip and the curved fuel door. Cheap, easy, fast and (if you are neat) no one will ever know.
