I have a 1998 XK8 4 litre. It starts up ok, but dashlights flickering and engine running a bit rough. The messages are: Traction Control fail, stability control fail and gearbox fault. Any help and advice would be welcome.

You need an OBD code reader.

- I use an OBD/Bluetooth dongle (from eBay)+ the Torque app.
Before getting too excited it is worth getting your battery checked - tired batteries upset these cars.
