I noticed a light had gone out on the oil gauge.
Once long ago I had noticed a light out in the main cluster then it just started working again a few days later. Still working too.
So I made a poor decision and decided to tap on the wood near the oil gauge to see if the light would come back on.
Bad idea.
Apparently the clear coat is averse to a moderate finger tap.
Now I am trying to convince myself that cracks, like wrinkles, add character.

 

Dang. Bad luck. The worst part is that you'll never be able to stop looking at it either.

 

Gosh that stinks! Thanks for posting it though, it may help someone else out. Who'd have thought that it would crack...
