Question Grounding strap under bonnet mystery?

Front drivers side under bonnet has a metal braded ground strap attached and visible. But, there is another two wire plastic insulated cable grounded and attached to one of the hinge points of the bonnet and it has been torn off leaving no trace of where it was connected too? What is this disconnected cable for? Could it be the cooling fans? 2002 XK8 Coupe Base Model 4.0 Engine

Smile Grounding Strap Observation Correction

My mistake here, upon further examination with a bright flashlight it is only one braded metal grounding strap wire and that is the bonnet grounding wiring that broke off from it's bonnet hinge point adjustment. There is no extra 2nd wire. Need now to acquire what part number this strap is (drivers side) and where to order from? Any suggestions?

Thanks,

ER/

Default Ground Lead Bonnet

It is called a "Ground Lead Bonnet" part #LMB3741AA Terry's Jaguar charges $54.45 for that simple grounding wire part that's about nine inches long... I installed a temporary braided grounding wire until I get a similar replacement but at much less cost.
