Hello Folks!!...
I seem to have a conundrum... I recently bought a 98 XK8. Currently I'm having the Tensionners done. But I have this problem with the headlights. They will not turn on (parking lights included). They will work on position #4 if it is dark. You can "flash" the brights anytime by moving the stalk, but I can't get any lights from 1-3. Anyone have any suggestions??

Probably the light switch needs to be replaced.

 

Yah, i'd guess the same Lew. Sounds like your stalk is ka-put! If you want to try a used part, look up (send a PM to) jagtechohio for a salvage part. I bet he could find you a good used one, that works - guaranteed.
