This is now totally off topic but, as we've started the discussion here, I'll continue

The adjustment is shown on page 50 of the 2006 XK Owner's Handbook (JJM 10 02 30 652):

All future questions about your 2006 XK should be in X150 forum.

Thanks.
What did you decide to do, in the end?

I put a small piece of black insulating tape on each headlamp. Doesn't matter where - there is no EU Directive on headlamp conversion.

My XK is easier because there's a lever in the headlamp unit to switch dip direction. Brilliant idea? Yes, but you do have to remove the headlamp unit to move the lever!

"there's a lever in the headlamp unit to switch dip direction." Really? I'm living in CZ and want to buy rhd (wheel on other side) xk8 from UK and looking valid info about the possibility to change dip direction. Knows anybody true? please, help

Welcome to the forums StanS,

NO - there isn't on the XK8/XKR. The dip direction change lever was introduced on the later XK model. This thread went off at a tangent.

Default The right place for stickers

Please can someone tell me or supply a photo or diagram showing the right place for the dip beam blanking for a UK car being driven in France for a couple of weeks.

I got these two photos (from I know not where!) of these Jaguar masks, then scaled off them to cut out two sticky-back plastic copies that I applied to the headlamp glasses, again scaling their position from the photos.

I'll be re-applying them this week as I too am of to France next week.

Edit Just noticed you have an X150, but this is is the X100 Forum/World! Sorry, I can't help you
