Default Heated Seats Driver Side Not So Hot

My (new to me) 00XKR drivers side seats dont really get hot. Maybe a little, but certainly not like the passenger side. Any advice on diagnostics, where to start?

The heating elements in the "drivers seat cushion" and the "drivers seat squab" (gotta love the English) are in series. So, if you are getting some heat, that means the neither element is open. The thermostat is in the drivers seat cushion. I would suspect the thermostat first. Then compare resistance of the elements in the drivers side to the passenger side.
If you want the wiring diag. for your car send me a PM with your Email Addr. It is a PDF file.

Better yet move south so you won't need the heat.

Fred
Thanks for your quick advice. I think I'll start with the wiring diag, see how I make out, then consider Texas...

I'll send an email - Thanks a lot

Can you tell me what the resistance should be. I had new leather and new foam added to my seats a year ago and have always assumed the lack of warmth was due to the new leather and foam. But I would like to be able to check out the t-stat just to make sure.
